*Important information about the application for Consular Registration requirement*.

October 13. According to Resolution DJUR-552-07-2023-ABM, published in La GACETA 189 of 10/13/2023, as of October 16, Consular Registration will be requested as part of the requirements for the application for a migratory category.

This requirement must be requested at the Embassy or Consulate according to the nationality of the foreigner, where a letter or card is issued showing that the process was completed, which must be presented at the General Directorate of Migration and Aliens at the time of presentation of the requirements of the migratory category.

No tendrán que presentar este requisito: 1. quienes hayan abierto su expediente antes del 16 de octubre del 2023, 2. quienes soliciten categoría de Trabajador Transfronterizo, y 3. personas solicitantes de Prórrogas de Turismo.
