The Social Protection Board continues its objective of contributing to public health, welfare and quality of life of populations in poverty and social vulnerability through the administration of Lotteries, Gaming and provision of services in the Camposantos, as evidenced after the delivery recently made in 2 hospitals, 2 day centers and cancer care programs, aid amounting to 1 billion colones.

The institution helped the Fundación Pro Clínica del Dolor y Cuidados Paliativos in Palmares by providing a vehicle valued at more than 20 million colones so that they can make home visits and transport oncologic and non-oncologic patients.
